Our chickens arrive to us the day after they are born. They are fed soy free certified organic feed throughout their lives. When our chickens develop feathers they are transferred to "chicken tractors" and are raised on certified organic pastures. Chicken tractors are large bottomless coops that allow the chickens to move around and forage while being protected from their predators. The chicken tractors are moved daily to allow the chickens access to fresh grass. Our chickens remain on the pasture until processing.
Our chickens are processed at a facility with a state inspector on site. These chickens will be USDA Inspected through the Cooperative Interstate Shipping Program and The Ohio Department of Agriculture.
